Nile Price, USA

Based on the true story of Ronald McNair. For the Moon is a coming-of-age story set in 1959 that follows a 9-year-old precocious African-American who enters an all-white library, in a deeply segregated South Carolina, and refuses to leave without his books.

Boundless

SECOND PLACE

William Pope, United Kingdom

“Boundless” is an elegiac tribute to life's fleeting beauty.

Until We Meet Again

THIRD PLACE

Tsz Yan Chau, Hong Kong

"I will stand by you from afar until the day we meet again."

Facing a terminal illness, a mother bid her son a fond farewell with the story of "Chang'e Flying to the Moon." She wishes she could be Chang'e, standing by her son from the moon, while her son harbors dreams of becoming an astronaut, hoping to meet his mother again on the distant moon with his father and their pet rabbit, Peanut.

With each goodbye, there is always a longing for meeting each other again. Will they be able to meet again on the distant moon?
